Nike Victory Elite (2012)

The groundbreaking Nike Victory Elite was released in 2012 for the Nike 1500m athletes at the London Olympics. This was the first ever iteration of a Nike track spike with a full carbon plate. The shoe was only released with a full carbon plate one time, the second iteration was nylon. The carbon plate, while stiff, wasn't light enough to make up for the weight. They originally retailed for $180.00.
